As you can see, the kids have taken quite well to her. We are all in love with our new-to-us piano. I found this beauty at a moving sale. The sweetest couple I have ever met are retiring and moving to another state to be with their kids and grandkids. They purchased this piano brand new in 1973 and have obviously taken great care of it. I plan to take care of it just the same. We have put strict rules into place about washing hands before touching it! So far, so good. I consider that a miracle of God, with a one-, a three-, and a four-year-old so excited to play it!
I took all of these photos just minutes after it was brought into the house. I love the thought of looking back at these twenty years from now. Recalling all of the memories we have of practicing, goofing off, singing Christmas carols around it, late-night writing sessions, learning, and growing.
